The Heil Rapid Rail Automated Side Loader refuse body relies on the following hydraulic cylinder functions during the collection and compaction cycle. HCIC supplies each as a build-to-order replacement cylinder:
These cylinders are engineered as replacement units for Heil / Rapid Rail Automated Side Loader applications (Side Loader). Third-party names are used for identification only — see the Trademark Notice below. To order, provide your old cylinder's nameplate photo, a drawing, a sample, or the vehicle model and function position, and HCIC will issue a Drawing for Approval for your written confirmation before production.
7 cylinder positions are documented for the Heil® Rapid Rail Automated Side Loader refuse body (source application guide pp. 127). Third-party reference data and HCIC build-to-order parameters are shown in two physically separate tables.
The dimensional information in the table below is compiled from publicly available third-party refuse-body cylinder application and crossover listings, and is reproduced for identification and enquiry purposes only. The original publisher states that such crossover and application data is "for reference only, and no other conditions are expressed or implied." HCIC does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party reference data and does not represent it as HCIC's own measured specification. Bore, rod and stroke figures are indicative values only; final manufacturing dimensions, tolerances, materials, seal configurations, pressure ratings and port/mounting interfaces are determined solely by the drawing approved by the customer for each order.

Table A reproduces third-party listing values for identification and enquiry purposes only. It is not an HCIC specification and does not imply interchangeability with any listed part.
HCIC cylinders are aftermarket, build-to-order replacement cylinders. They are not original equipment parts, and HCIC is not an authorized distributor of, nor affiliated with, any original equipment manufacturer named on this page. Unless a customer supplies a drawing, sample or nameplate data, HCIC manufactures each cylinder to the drawing prepared by HCIC and approved in writing by the customer before production begins (the "Drawing for Approval" process). Fitness for a particular application depends on operating pressure, duty cycle, mounting geometry, fluid compatibility and vehicle configuration; the buyer is responsible for confirming suitability, and HCIC's responsibility is limited to conformity with the approved drawing and the written warranty supplied with the order.

Table B lists HCIC's own build-to-order model numbers. Every HCIC cylinder is manufactured to the customer-approved drawing, so dimensions are not pre-set from the third-party values in Table A — they are fixed by the approved drawing for each order. Multi-stage telescopic and positions marked “—” are engineered to order; contact HCIC with your application details.
