Hooklift and skip-loader systems both move containers, but their cylinders differ in stroke and geometry. Hookloaders need long-stroke cylinders (up to 5200 mm) following a defined lift arc; skiploaders use shorter, higher-force strokes.

If your routes are multi-stop with frequent swaps, hooklift speed wins. For fixed plant loading, a skiploader's simpler cylinder is often enough.
